Despite our persistent badgering and internet snooping, we've yet to receive confirmation that Uniqlo will set up shop at 1500 Walnut Street. Even so, the web's abuzz with speculation that the Japanese clothing chain is one of the retailers coming to the new construction at 15th and Walnut streets' southeast corner, the former home of the world's saddest Rite Aid.
Rumor has it a new multi-story building with house Uniqlo within its third and fourth floors, making Philadelphia the second city to receive a Uniqlo store, after New York.
