A survey of area consumers reveals that, along with clothing, Philadelphians are most likely to gift others with gift cards and certificates. In return, we expect gift cards and cold, hard cash in our stockings.
Even better, Philadelphians are projected to spend more than the national average on gifts: Local spending is expected to be $478 per shopper, while the national average is less, at $386 per shopper. Cheap bastards.
