Should our faith in humanity ever be threatened, we will seek solace in this fact: In 2012, a handful of Philadelphians resisted the sirens' song of Thanksgiving Day doorbusters, opting instead to pass out on the couch in a Cool Whip-induced slumber—like any sane person on America's most gluttonous holiday.

Roxborough-Manayunk Patch is polling local residents to see if they'll be shopping on Thursday, and so far, the answer is unanimous, with 100 percent of the responders answering no. Sure, only 10 people have participated, and "this poll is not scientific," but it's at least something.
