Sazz Vintage has launched Philly's first ever pop-up shop devoted entirely to ugly Christmas sweaters. On Friday, the reindeer- and pompom-adorned monstrosities took over the front section of Sazz's sister store, Bulk Vintage, at 38 North 3rd Street in Old City.
Storeowner Amanda Saslow promises the selection—which also includes vests and sweatshirts—to strike the perfect balance of "tacky, cute, fuzzy, and horrible." Also for sale, in limited supply, will be holiday-themed neckties and vintage jewelry. The pop-up will be open through the holiday season, with extended hours around Christmas. And because 'tis the season of giving, a portion of all sales will be donated to a children's charity.
