Three holiday pop-ups are joining the retail roster of Chestnut Hill's shopping district: From Bali to Bala, an art gallery-meets-boutique for Indonesian imports; Curio, a vendor of repurposed furniture; and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's eponymous pop-up.
For the Scrooges out there, a new non holiday-themed store is set to open on Germantown Avenue this month: J. McLaughlin, a New York-based retailer of women's and men's preppy sportswear and accessories. J. McLaughlin will be a permanent addition to the Chestnut Hill retail scene, while the trio of pop-ups will disappear after the holiday season.
