Sarah at N 5th and Cecil B Moore

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's Street Scenes subject is Sarah, shot at the intersection of Fifth Street and Cecil B Moore in Olde Kensington. Feel free to vote on whether you like or dislike her outfit below. Your choices are 'Perfection!,' 'I feel strangely ambivalent about it,' or 'Who did this to you?'

Sarah is wearing a shirt from Buffalo Exchange; pants from H&M; shoes from Target; and a scarf from Anthropologie. Her hat is handmade (she bought it at a Christmas village in Bethlehem, PA), and her gloves are from a dollar store. Her sister made her earrings, and she can't remember where she bought her jacket.
