While the rest of the city resolved to sweat it out at the gym, we have a slightly different (read: way more fun) suggestion for personal betterment in the new year: hair extensions from Indique Boutique. The mini-chain (Indique already has locations in Boston, NYC, and New Jersey) is expanding to Philly, opening at 1607 South Street this month.
Catering to all ethnicities and hair types (clients include Lady Gaga and Ciara), the boutique specializes in virgin human hair and is a "one-stop-shop" for extensions, according to a press release. Customers receive a hair consultation and color matching before being referred to partner stylists who can apply the extensions. The store's grand opening is Saturday, January 12th, from noon to 4pm, and will offer customers 20% off their entire purchase. The first ten people in line will score a free tube of hair.
