the Italian Market's Laurentius Salon is breathing new life into the nail art trend with a limited-edition manicure inspired by the Philadelphia Museum of Art's new exhibit, Léger: Modern Art and the Metropolis, a closer look at the works of French modernist painter Fernand Léger.
A nod to Léger's fascination with machines, bold colors, and Cubism in 1920s Paris, the Léger Foil Nail ($20, available through January '14) tops your choice of color with metallic foils for a funky, mosaic-like finish. Laurentius has also added a Léger Pixie Cut ($55) to its menu—a short, flapper-inspired style. If you're planning on checking out the exhibit, hold on to those stubs: The salon will give you 10% off your treatment if you present your museum ticket.
