Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If your beauty routine is a little more Whole Foods, a little less CVS, then read on. Weaver's Way Co-op, a full-service, member-owned grocery store in Chestnut Hill, has just opened the doors to Weaver's Way Next Door, a health and wellness store adjacent to the co-op.
Destined to become your beauty headquarters for all-things non-toxic, local, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, et al, the wellness store's shelves are lined with chemical-free nail polishes, natural bath and hair products, lip balms, salves, scrubs, mineral makeup, and sun protection. Also on the menu: soy candles, recycled bamboo toothbrushes, supplements, cut-your-own soaps, and every scent of Dr Bronner's under the sun.
Bring your hacky sacks party hats for Weaver's Way Next Door's grand opening celebration on Friday, November 8, 5pm to 7pm.
