Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Arielle Salkowitz, the Philadelphia University grad behind the '50s-inspired fashion label Earl Salko, has a brick-and-mortar store in the works. The designer tells us she'll be opening Decades Boutique at 704 S. 5th Street, the former home of sexytime shop Passional.

Decades Boutique will house vintage goods and American-made clothing, including Salkowitz's own line. What's more, the store will feature local painters and musicians throughout the year "in the hopes of bringing awareness to the wonderful art community of Philadelphia." Decades Boutique (not to be confused with Decades Vintage, which is rumored to be closing) will officially open on Saturday, October 19. Stay tuned for a sneak peek of the store to follow shortly.
