Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Dreaming of a spot in next year's Hottest Trainer competition? If you're a federal employee affected by the government shutdown, you can shape up during the furlough for free at Philadelphia Sports Club's six Philly-area fitness centers. Just present your government ID at the front desk to snag a free pass to the clubs' facilities and fitness classes.

Take note, though: The offer isn't valid from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays, and you must be 18 or older. Philadelphia Sports Clubs says the offer will last through the duration of the shutdown, so the end date of this special is TBD.
