Welcome to Racked Philly's first annual Racked Awards, our celebration of the best and brightest of Philly retail—the local labels, designers, and indie boutiques that made getting dressed the best part of waking up over the past 12 months.

This Thursday, we'll announce which five of our 2013 Racked Awards Editor's Choice nominees will be awarded the prestige, distinction, and glory represented by the coveted Golden Turban. To refresh, there are eight categories this year, each embodying the best of brightest in local retail and shopping. Three were open to a reader vote, and the other five winners will be chosen by Racked editors; however, all eight will be feted at our gala celebration in NYC on Thursday evening—along with a full nationwide roster of champs.
