Were you hoping to check out the Isabel Marant x H&M collab in Philly this weekend? Too bad, slow poke! The collab, which hit stores and the H&M website yesterday at 8am, has pretty much sold out at the fast fashion retailer's 1725 Walnut Street location, the only H&M store in the area to carry the coveted collection of men's, women's, and children's apparel and accessories from the French designer. (Side note: a Racked Philly reader tells us that, inexplicably, the beaded embroidered jacket, no doubt the shining star of the Marant collab, wasn't offered here in Philly, and H&M employees gave her a blank stare when she asked for it. "Do you think I would be out in 20 degree weather for a linen t-shirt?" she retorted. Classic Philly.)
At 12pm on Friday, an employee from the Rittenhouse Row store, who by the way, could not wait to get off the phone with us, says that only a "couple pieces" are left, including some men's coats and a "few things in women's and children's." But there's more bad news for those of you hoping to come late to the party: The collab won't be restocked at the store, so your best bet now is to try to shop the goods online.
