Talk about an upgrade: At Spruce Street tailors Henry A. Davidsen, clients can request precious metal- and diamond-threaded fabric for their custom-made suits. Made by the European fabric manufacturer Scabal, specially-made cloth can be inlaid with 22-carat gold or diamond, platinum, or lapis lazuli chips.

One of the more conspicuous options includes fabric in which tiny personalized text replaces the fabric's pinstripes. The cost for a three-piece suit, custom-made with this fabric? Just under $14,000.
