Construction is underway on Salon Royale Court's new, Avenue of the Arts location. Currently housed within a 150-year-old brownstone at 1822 Spruce Street, the fancy, full-service salon is under new ownership and relocating to a more modern spot at 215 S. Broad Street. The salon's new home will be a second-floor, 3,300-square-foot facility directly above Rite Aid, marked by a oversized, crescent-shaped window.

Many of Salon Royale Court's current stylists and technicians will transition to the Broad Street location, where they'll offer hair, nail, makeup, and waxing services. April 2013 is the projected opening date.
