RackedWire is our look at shopping events and other happenings around town. Got an item for us? Operators are standing by at philly@racked.com.
MANAYUNK—This weekend, Manayunk's Three Potato Four will host its second annual Outpost shopping event. Along with Three Potato Four's found objects and antiques, local retailers and artisans will be selling their rustic-chic wares—think handmade journals and wood crafts from Peg & Awl; handcrafted denim from Fishtown's Norman Porter; and heritage brands from Paoli's Trove General. The event takes place from 10am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. [Racked Inbox]
KING OF PRUSSIA—In support of American Heart Month, the King of Prussia Mall will hold its annual Heart Health Day, sponsored by Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Shoppers will have the chance to meet former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter and Eagles cheerleaders, sample heart-healthy dishes and take in a live cooking demonstration by Chef Kevin Sbraga, the winner of Top Chef's seventh season and owner of Sbraga. The event takes place on Saturday from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Lord & Taylor Court. [Racked Inbox]
