Joan Shepp Wants You to Know Her Boutique's Not Closing

Change is in store for Joan Shepp's eponymous Walnut Street shop. Come September, the designer boutique's lease at the 1616 Building will expire, and renovations to the building are slated to follow shortly thereafter. But don't fret: Shepp is promising to remain open through the summer, adamant that her boutique won't even close for a day. Lest there be any confusion about the boutique's future, the store owner took to Facebook last night to squash any misinformation:

A new location for the boutique is currently being scouted; rumor has it that it will be somewhere within close proximity to Rittenhouse Row.
