This is by far East Falls'
only coolest shop-in-shop: Colors by Padmini has brought its candy-colored, handmade Indian textiles to Material Culture, a 60,000-square-foot home store known for its authentic, globally-sourced decor and furnishings.
If you're not afraid of a little color, then Padmini is your bag. Expect vintage Indian saris and antique, sequined bridal dresses, plus a range of more modern apparel, accessories, and jewelry—in every color under the sun. The shop-in-shop also offers home decor items (poufs, iridescent window treatments, pillows), and for the do-it-yourself crowd, there's authentic raw materials and Indian fabric by-the-yard.
