Today's pick comes from Racked New York associate editor Nicola Fumo.

They're Real Mascara, $23 at Benefit.com

Confession: I'm still using the trial tube of this miracle mascara, but I fully intend to purchase the full size. When I do finally unzip my wallet for Benefit's They're Real Mascara, it will mark my first long-term deviation from drugstore mascara, ever. It's not that I haven't tried out luxe mascaras before this—they just never seemed to make too much of a difference. The combination of this brush and the formula finally made that difference. I saw the definition and added length in the first swipe that would take my old drugstore standby a few coats. Layer it on and you get incredible lashes that don't get too Liza, stay flexible all day, and never smudge. I'm sold.
