This Sansom Street Shopkeep is Making Wallpaper Cool Again

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Here is stadler-Kahn store owner Alexander Stadler holding a prototype of BINGO, his brand-new line of eco-friendly wallpaper. Illustrated by the man himself, the wallpaper comes in 12-foot x 2-foot rolls and will go for $150/roll or $15/foot. Click through the slideshow after the jump to check out his kinda-like-Matt-Groening-but-better drawing style.

In case you didn't know, Stadler is a true jack-of-all-trades; he's an accomplished illustrator, textile designer, and author of the irresistably charming What Willie Wore.
