Here's a sure sign that spring has arrived: Today, the Shops at Liberty Place is kicking off the 2013 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival. Through Thursday, the rotunda will offer free activities to promote the month-long Japanese arts festival. On the docket? Kimono dressing, origami, calligraphy, and Ikebana (floral arranging). The activities take place from noon to 2pm everyday, but the real draw of the cherry blossom festival is Sakura Sunday, a full day of Japanese activities, food, and events like the Prettiest Pet in Pink Parade (adorable) and a Harajuku fashion show (amazing).
