CENTER CITY—Chestnut Street's Knit Wit is hosting a PopShop shopping event on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm and Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. A new retail concept started by Wharton MBAs, PopShop brings online-only brands to the public via trunk shows in boutiques around the country. Knit Wit's PopShop will feature four brands: ADORNIA fine jewelry; Peach and Lily beauty; M.M. Lafleur clothing; and kyu mélange clothing and accessories. [Racked Inbox]

RITTENHOUSE—On Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm, designer boutique Joan Shepp will support breast cancer awareness with the 10 Event featuring BreastCancer.org founder and president Dr. Marisa Weiss. During the fashion and cocktail party, Weiss will field questions and share tips for lowering your breast cancer risk. Ten percent of all proceeds will go toward breast cancer research, and all attendees will receive a complimentary pink and green stretch bracelet by Chan Luu. [RackedWire]
