Nude shoes are the epitome of a wardrobe staple. They're insanely flattering, can be worn year-round, and they can be paired with virtually everything in your wardrobe. But what happens when 'nude' is synonymous with one skin tone?
To find a hue that complements you, look for color names that describe your skin tone, like camel, saddle, and cocoa. The closer to your skin color, the better; this helps elongate legs, creating a nice line that isn't perforated by color. Also, don't be afraid to consider pink and blush hues with a hint of sheen; this barely-there shade looks great with a variety of skins tones. Here are 15 shoes from light and medium to dark to get you started.—Latanya Vicks
