Bulk Vintage, the sister store to Sazz Vintage and Briar Vintage, is entering its final days in Old City. Located at 38 North Third Street, the by-the-pound vintage clothing shop is closing next week, but here's the silver lining: The shop is holding a Fill-a-Bag sale, now through Saturday, April 13. Through Friday, buy a bag for $10—or a larger bag for $20—and cram it full with as much clothing as possible; the only rule is that the bag must be able to be tied shut. If you wait 'til the last minute and shop the sale on Saturday, bags will be reduced to $5. The store will be open from 12pm to 7pm each day, and keep in mind that the sale is cash only.
So what's behind the shop's shuttering? "We had the lease for only one year, and while people loved the concept and merchandise of the store, Old City is not the right location for it," says store owner Amanda Saslow. "We're looking for a new location."
