After closing late last month, Puma's Philadelphia store now sports paper in its windows instead of athletic-themed product displays. The 1505 Walnut Street space—which neighbors retail heavyweights like Gap, Diesel, and Club Monaco—is in a prime location, which leads us to wonder: What retailer will be next for the site?
The space is most likely too small for a Uniqlo, but could it be a good fit for a Scotch & Soda? Or perhaps Kiehl's will adopt the space as its new, permanent home, relocating from its temporary digs within the Shops at Liberty Place. Reps at Puma have yet to respond to a Racked inquiry regarding the store's shuttering, but stay tuned for updates.
