Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Kate Spade already has a location within the King of Prussia Mall, but it's not through bringing its playful blend of prep and chic to our area. The brand will soon open within Ardmore's Suburban Square, an upscale shopping complex that's home to big names like Urban Outfitters, Barbour, Gap, J.Crew, Banana Republic, and the newly-added Jack Wills.

Kate Spade will take up residence in the prime corner space formerly occupied by City Sports, and according to Suburban Square's Facebook page, the new store will open in fall 2013. We just put in a request for official comment from the brand, so stay tuned for updates.
