It's back! Lilly Pulitzer's much-anticipated Warehouse Sale returns this Thursday through Saturday, offering up to 70% off the label's preppy-chic apparel and accessories for women, men, and kids. Held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks (past King of Prussia via 422W), the mega clearance event brings out the most diehard Lilly fans. Case in point: We're told that shoppers have been camping in the Expo parking lot since last Sunday, queued up to rush the doors when the sale opens at 5am on Thursday. Wanna get in on the action? Here, the folks at Lilly Pulitzer share eight insider tips for tackling the sale like a pro.
Tip 1: Arrive early, but expect to wait: Customers started to line up last Sunday with chairs and tents in the parking lot. (This weekend's sale will be especially crowded, as the brand is only hosting one such event this year.)
Tip 2: The sale runs from 5am to 8pm on Thursday, June 6; 7am to 8pm on Friday, June 7; and 8am to 4pm on Saturday, June 8. (Outside doors open one hour earlier than sale start, each day.) If you want to shop the sale on Thursday, it's recommended you line up early (between 3am and 4am); outside doors open at 4am with the sale doors opening at 5am.
Tip 3: Bring your dancing shoes while you wait—a house DJ starts getting the crowd pumped at 4:30am on Thursday morning and will be playing tunes on Friday and Saturday morning, as well. Food and coffee vendors will be on site each day for the early morning waits.
Tip 4: Merchandise will be organized by size, with colored balloons signifying different sections. Seek out these balloon colors to find what you're looking for: Pink: Ladies'; Dark Blue: Men's; Green: Children's; Yellow: Samples (lots of great finds in this area!); Light Blue: Accessories, jewelry, shoes, and gifts.
Tip 5: Merchandise is replenished constantly throughout the day and overnight, so it's still worth shopping the sale on Friday and Saturday when it's less crowded.
Tip 6: Trying on merchandise on the selling floor is prohibited. A massive dressing room will be located at the back wall of the sale.
Tip 7: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, cash, and checks will be accepted. Lilly Pulitzer gift cards will not be accepted.
Tip 8: Don't forget to pick up a special discount card at checkout for use at Lilly's Pulitzer's King of Prussia Mall and Suburban Square locations.
