This just in: Philly designer Seun Olubodun is expanding his preppy-cool lifestyle brand, Duke & Winston, to the Main Line. Slated to open November 1 at 907 West Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, the new location will be Duke & Winston's second brick-and-mortar store; the brand already has a showroom at 633 North 2nd Street in NoLibs, which opened in fall 2012.
The Main Line address will put Oludobun's bulldog-inspired line of men's polos, logo caps, silk ties, and understated men's and women's graphic tees right under the noses of popped-collared undergrads—no doubt a strategic move by the business-savvy entrepreneur. Stay tuned for updates.
