Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Philly custom menswear label Commonwealth Proper will upgrade to a larger space at 1839 Chestnut Street. Less than a half-mile from its current Spruce Street showroom, the new, 2,000-square-foot digs will enable the growing brand to keep up with the demand for its custom, USA-made suits, shirts, ties, and leather goods for the tattooed gentleman.

Here's more good news for Commonwealth Proper's sartorially-minded clientele: The Chestnut Street address is just a stone's throw from the similarly-honed Boyds and Allen Edmonds. The new showroom is scheduled to open this fall.
