A Chic, Perfect-For-All-Occasions Polish

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's pick comes from Racked National editor Leslie Price.
2013_08_.RGB-nudejpgRGBxHIPP S2 nail sheer, $18 at Net-a-Porter.
The word "nude" has garnered a bad reputation in the fashion and beauty industry because let's be real—"nude" used to mean one general shade of gringo. Times are changing, however, and last year celeb nail artist Jenna Hipp and RGB polish founder Gina Carney came out with an array of nude polishes that truly fit everyone's skin tone.

The line is incredible and the shades are perfect for the understated look that's replaced last year's nail-art overload. An added bonus: the RGB collection is cruelty-free, made in the US and without many toxins found in many other polish lines—carcinogens like DBP, formaldehyde, toluene and camphor. I've been wearing S2, a very sheer pink.
