Eco-conscious fashion brand United by Blue will debut its first-ever brick-and-mortar location with a soft launch scheduled for late August. The Philly-based label of men's and women's organic cotton tees, waxed canvas bags, and artisan jewelry will take up residence in a historic building at 144 North Second Street .

Keeping with its Earth-friendly ethos, UBB has outfitted its new digs with locally-sourced reclaimed materials, and get this: The retail store will be complemented by an in-house café that'll keep customers caffeinated with java from Fishtown roasters ReAnimator Coffee. An official grand opening party for United by Blue will be held on September 25 during the citywide, annual fashion and retail celebration The Philadelphia Collection.
