Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In case you haven't heard, Metro Men's Clothing is relocating its Racked 38-worthy inventory of contemporary menswear to 1600 East Passyunk Avenue next month.

So what's spurring the small move from Metro's current spot at 1615 EPA? The promise of growth, more space, and a better location. "I couldn't pass up an opportunity for a large, prime corner location right by the East Passyunk fountain," says Metro owner Tom Longo. "We'll keep the same general look but will now have hardwood floors, three huge picture windows for displays, and be able to provide more comfortable seating and a better flow."

Longo's dreams of e-commerce will finally be realized, too, as the new digs' two floors plus a basement will provide plenty of room for processing web orders, shipping, and storage.
