The day has finally come: Walnut Street stalwart Joan Shepp has vacated its longtime home at 1616 Walnut Street, making room for Theory to open in its place. But all is not lost for fans of Shepp's inventory of high-end European labels: "Join us this Saturday, September 28th, as we open the Joan Shepp Pop-Up Shop," the store just posted on its blog. "We will be located on the 1st Floor of the Rotunda in the Shops at Liberty Place."
The boutique has yet to announce its new, permanent address, but rumor has it Joan Shepp is scouting locations in Rittenhouse Row. In the meantime, look for the boutique at 16th and Chestnut.
