New J.Crew Factory Will Lure You Outside Philly City Lines

The Plymouth Meeting Mall probably isn't among your regular shopping haunts, but that may be about to change. The ho-hum shopping center, which is anchored by Macy's and Boscov's, is set to receive a J.Crew Factory later this season. "We're J.Crew Factory," says the construction signage. "We're everything you love about J.Crew and we've got deals every day. Come say hi when we open later this fall."

While the new store location will remain kind of a haul (it's 30 minutes by car from Center City to Plymouth Meeting), it's a lesser evil than the drive to shop J.Crew Factory at Limerick's misnomered Philadelphia Premium Outlets.
