Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

1.) Around Town: Eater spent the past week wrapping up 2013 with a little help from some of Philly's top food writers and industry experts. See their picks for the best new restaurants of the year, who served them the best meal they ate in 2013, and what neighborhood is the city's hottest dining destination.

2.) NoLibs: Next week is the grand opening of Crabby Cafe & Bar, a new Cajun-Vietnamese seafood spot at the Piazza (it replaces Max's Brew Bar). The extensive tap selection will remain, but now you can pair your beer with crawfish boils, fried alligator, and pho.

3.) E. Passyunk Crossing: Newly open in EPX, Vegan Commissary is serving seasonal and affordable vegan eats, including weekend brunch. With a number of approachable sandwiches and substantial comfort-food choices on the menu, you can probably even convince your non-vegan friends to tag along.
