It appears the ink is dry on the deal that's bringing Michael Kors to Burberry's old spot on Rittenhouse Row. Left vacant by the British retailer last month, the 8,052-square-foot building at 1705 Walnut Street was recently purchased by Pearl Properties of Philadelphia for a cool $5 mill. Just in time to kick off the summer, Michael Kors has a projected opening date of May 15, reports Philadelphia Business Journal.

P.S. Regarding news that J.Crew will open a men's store at the corner spot currently hosting Juicy Couture on Walnut, our contact at J.Crew tell us there's "no info on a Philly men's store at the moment." We'll circle back later.
