Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Free People has replaced models with actual brand fans on the FP website, which is pretty cool if you want to see how that lacy maxi dress will look on people other than the impossibly leggy Karlie Klosses and Sasha Pivovarovas of the world.

The limited-time FP Me Takeover celebrates the one-year anniversary of FP Me, the Philly-based lifestyle brand's online style community where fans of the brand can post selfies in their favorite Free People gear. The shoppable takeover features the most popular snapshots and products from the FP Me community's total of 30,000 user-submitted photos. One Philly girl, yoga instructor Lizzy Lopez, makes it into the mix, so show her some love before the category is removed from the site on Saturday, March 8.
