Yesterday marked the grand opening of Saint Laurent (formerly YSL) in the King of Prussia Mall. (We'd initially heard the French luxury fashion house was to open in KOP in July 2013, but better late than never, n'est-ce pas?)
Sandwiched between David Yurman and Salvatore Ferragamo in The Plaza, the 1,800-square-foot store is the latest in a series of Saint Laurent stores built to the specifications of brand creative director Hedi Slimane. A "physical embodiment of the brand's realigned visual identity," the design concept is heavy on marble, concrete, and mirror.
The KOP Mall store is one of 16 Saint Laurent locations across the US, but the luxury fashion house's first store here in Pennsylvania. The location carries both men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessories. For more stores opening in the Philly area, follow this link.
