Franklin Flea is headed for the 'burbs. Helmed by Mark Vevle, the market manager of the now-belly up Brooklyn Flea Philly, Franklin Flea will take over the Plymouth Meeting Mall for a two weekend-long run starting Friday, March 28, and ending Sunday, April 6.
A curated list of 15-20 vendors will peddle your expected flea market finds, e.g. upcycled furniture, antiques, collectibles, vintage apparel, and hand-crafted goods. Better still, the mall's neighboring Whole Foods will be on hand to keep shoppers fueled with gourmet tacos and doughnuts. A short hiatus next month will hopefully give Vevle enough downtime before his market returns again April 19 at the corner of 8th and Market.
