Formerly a buyer for Boyds' contemporary department, Fran D'Ambrosio has an eye for trends, but her Main Line boutique, Ella's Grove, isn't catering solely to the stilettoed set. In fact, D'Ambrosio's advice for women taking on a new trend is "always be comfortable."

D'Ambrosio's adaptation of spring's three must-have trends—black and white, neoprene graphic sheaths, and bomber jackets, according to the boutique owner—follow suit, each presented in a way that's practical, wearable, and most importantly, blister-free. We can get on board with that.

"So simple, so modern. The neoprene sheath needs no accessorizing and can dress up or down with shoes. I'm partial to Valentino Rockstuds, but you could even wear these with a simple flip flop for a tropical getaway."

"I love the crispness of this look. Black and white grabs the eye and makes the wearer look sharp while hiding body flaws. White highlights the complexion and makes everyone look so pulled together."

"The bomber jacket is a retro look that has been modernized to look so 'right now.' It's a great layering piece, and I love it as much with jeans as I do with ball gowns." · Ella's Grove [Official Site]
