U CITY — Federal Donuts West is finally ready to go at Penn, with its official opening set for this Monday, March 10. There are a ton of new flavors exclusive to the new shop, from pad thai glazed chicken to toasted marshmallow-topped fancies, that you'll want to check out even if you've got another location closer by.

FISHTOWN — Um, bummer: Turns out that hotly anticipated Stephen Starr-Aimee Olexy partnership built around a backyard veggie garden won't be happening, after all.

PHILANTHROPY — In more cheery Starr news, this week the restaurateur announced plans to raise funds for the struggling School District of Philadelphia in all of his Philly restaurants.

EAST PASSYUNK — The owners of super-buzzy Cheu Noodle Bar are on a serious tear, having just signed a lease for a second restaurant and bar on East Passyunk. And it's not going to be Cheu 2.0.
