Volta Market, the wellness market from Philly craft fair staple/soap makers Volta Organics, just opened the doors to its East Passyunk Avenue shop—Volta's first b&m—last weekend.
In addition to Volta's own line of small-batch, Philly-made soaps and such, a full inventory of wholesome, holistic items line the shelves, including specialty gourmet items (teas, coffee, chocolate, bar mixers), candles, bamboo toothbrushes, cranberry dental floss (!), and beauty buys that are a whole lot prettier than what you'll find on the shelves at CVS. Now if only Volta would start to keep issues of Star by the register, we'd be converts for life.
