GAYBORHOOD — Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran's original hit, Mexican-focused Lolita, reopens today after closing for about six months for a major tenth-anniversary facelift. Eater Philly's got all the details on the new look, new menu, and new full bar.

KENSINGTONSt. Benjamin's Brewing Company, the independent nanobrewery concept in South Kensington, has been long in the making, but it looks like they should finally be ready to start brewing in just a few weeks. Eventually, St. Ben's has plans for a full brewpub serving food.

UNIVERSITY CITYJake's Sandwich Board (known for their cheesesteaks, roast pork, and sometimes over-the-top specials) is expanding into U City with a second location with some really attractive late-night hours. Fans of the 12th St. original should take note: there's also a reno planned there this summer.
