The toast of Philly's fashion world, Project Runway season 12 winner (woot woot!) Dom Streater, will debut her spring 2014 capsule collection tonight with a special pop-up shop at Chestnut Street's Knit Wit. The two-hour pop-up will give eventgoers a chance to shop the print-centric collection before it's available for purchase on Streater's e-commerce site later tonight.
"The capsule collection is my vision of what Mod looks like," the designer, a West Philly native and Moore grad, tells us. I wanted to do something British mod-style, mixed with my graphic prints and silhouettes, made accessible for the modern woman." If we were the betting type, we'd wager Streater's shift dresses and tees in silky failles will drape the forms of countless fashion-savvy Philadelphians this summer. Stop by the event 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, April 29.
