Our coverage of Uniqlo's introduction to the Pa. market has been a thrilling ride, and it looks like the Japanese retailer isn't done with us just yet. Now, Uniqlo tells us they'll be adding a third store to their Philly-area line-up, which will join forces with locations in King of Prussia and Center City to bolster the fast-fashion retailer's domination of southeastern Pa. We're not worthy!
The newly-announced store will open in the PREIT-owned Willow Grove Park Mall in Montgomery County, but you'll have to wait until October 10 to get your hands on Uniqlo's affordable apparel for men, women, and kids. (One week earlier, October 3, will see the grand opening of the retailer's store at 1608 Chestnut Street.) Those of us with less patience can take solace in the fact that the retailer's King of Prussia Mall store opens Friday, May 16 — next week! The KOP location will open with a flurry of festivities all weekend long, including traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances, free tote bags for the first 500 customers, and free AIRism items with every purchase of $50 or more. We'll see you in line.
Update (5/8/14): The Willow Grove Park Mall's Uniqlo store will be located on the third floor, by Nordstrom Rack.
