It's happening. After what seemed like an eternity of teasing, Joan Shepp has announced the opening date of her boutique's new location within the lower levels of the Belgravia on Chestnut Street: [drumroll please] Saturday, June 28.
It's a teeny-tiny move from her former, longtime address at 16th and Walnut, which she was forced to vacate due to rising rental rates—but you likely already knew that. And despite the short distance of the move, it's a big change for the 40-year-old designer boutique. Like, 9,200 square feet big, over two stories. That means way more room for Shepp's inventory of men's and women's high fashion buys from designers like Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Maison Martin Margiela, YSL, Comme des Garçons, and YSL. Stay tuned.
