Kitch-n Collectibles is probably the coolest vintage shop you don't already know about. Owned by mustachioed former Philly firefighter Rich Boris, the Ridge Avenue store is jam-packed (really) with vintage kitchen appliances, all of which have been refurbished by the shop owner (read: everything's in working condition). Expect USA-made chrome blenders, toasters, blenders, hand mixers, and kettles straight out of your mid-century fantasy, alongside novelty collectibles and Americana ephemera. We've even spotted some swoon-worthy jadeite and milk glass on the sales floor here.
Before opening Kitch-n Collectibles in 2012, the story goes that Boris, a longtime collector, ended up with storage facilities full of vintage appliances and kitsch. Boris decided to put his habit to better use, et voila, Kitch-n Collectibles was born.
