OLD CITY/ALL OVER — This week finally saw the opening of Independence Beer Garden, the highly anticipated, massive outdoor bar just across the street from the Liberty Bell. But that's not all: we rounded up 14 more of the best places to eat and drink outdoors this summer.

EAST PASSYUNK — A table at Top Chef winner Nick Elmi's tiny BYOB, Laurel, is a tough get. But there's one table in the backyard that you can reserve right now, and we've got all the details.

PHILADELPHIA — We polled some of our favorite Philly chefs — some vegan, some die-hard meat enthusiasts — for their favorite meat-free dishes around town. And they all gave us some great veggie-friendly options.

THE INTERNET — Registration took place this week for this year's rendition of everyone's favorite pop-up white party, Diner en Blanc. And as usual, the demand way outpaced their servers' capacity. And as usual, some people were steamed.
