Philadelphia has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around Philly that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Old City's The Geisha House

Arcadia Boutique

Arcadia has great merchandise that fits my style perfectly, but I mainly go to sift through their well-curated vintage clothing. They were also one of the first Philly boutiques to carry New Histories Jewelry!

Geisha House

When I need a modern and effortless look, I visit The Geisha House. I love their contemporary, fun summer dresses in bright colors. This boutique will carry my jewelry line in the fall.

Mid Century Furniture Warehouse

Mid-Century Furniture Warehouse opens its doors to the public only two times per month. Every time I go, I find AMAZING vintage furniture and random wall art. It's only a block away from my studio at the Paper Box, and I peek in everyday to admire the gorgeous inventory.

Omoi Zakka Shop

I love this shop's quirkiness. Here, you can find cute stationery, and they have the sweetest little case filled with moss and Dear Swallow jewelry pieces.

Third Street Habit

This boutique is boho done right. Every piece in the store feels handpicked and special. I especially love their denim options and great mix of jewels.

Vox Populi

Vox Populi is a nonprofit artist collective that supports the work of under-represented artists. I love coming here to find cool indie artwork that I know no one else will have. It’s also great to know the profits from my purchases are going straight to local artists.
